I have read all but one of the previous books in this series , and I have loved them all. That said, this one is my absolute favorite.
Ms Clopton takes us back to the town of Mule Hollow, where a group of very sweet ladies are responsible for “the cowboy’s looking for wives” campaign.
This story is a little different. The matchmaking is still alive and well, but the main characters Haley and Will are both natives of the town who days before Christmas, 10 years ago, were set to marry . At the last minute , Haley not only leaves Will at the altar , but she also leaves town.
Fast forward , ten years. Haley, now a successful Hollywood realtor, drives back home after leaving a groom at the alter for the third time.
Yes , it’s a story about these two individuals, but the author goes deeper than that. It’s a story about how sometimes people that love us remember our mistakes or mishaps, and though they don’t mean any harm, it does affect the individual when they are constantly reminded of their faults and clumsiness. It’s a story about assumptions made by those that love us, and decisions made for us without us having any input.
Also a story about how someone 18 years old , has not had a chance to spread their wings. And yes, it’s about regrets, hurts, and insecurities. But it’s also a story about hope, faith, family, redemption and love.
So , don’t hesitate to get the book. You will fall in love with the story, the town and all it’s inhabitants.

This book was a little different than others in the series. Instead of strangers, Will and Haley Bell were together a decade earlier until circumstances tore them apart. There is much angst between these characters as they are trying to avoid each other to make it through the Holidays. Of course the Matchmakers will make sure they are thrown together as much as possible.
I enjoyed seeing Haley's grandfather, Applegate, as a multi-dimensional character. He's not just a guy who plays checkers. )

This is a fun book series, and I've really enjoyed it.
This book keep my interest all the way though to the end. The story of loading lover and in finding it again
